A broad-spectrum fungicide that works by contact, systemically, preventively, and curatively. It is used efficiently and effectively to eliminate stubborn fungal diseases such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, scab, rusts, fruit rots, leaf spots, Ascochyta blight, and anthracnose. It has a strong efficacy in combating gummy stem blight in cucurbits. The effectiveness of the fungicide is due to its content of two active substances from two different chemical groups (methoxyacrylate and chloronitrile) and the way it induces toxic action within the targeted fungi. Azoxystrobin inhibits the respiratory process inside the fungus’s mitochondria, while chlorothalonil inhibits the energy production pathway in the fungus and prevents spore germination, providing complete and long-term protection. It is characterized by the difficulty of forming resistant strains of fungi due to the multiple sites of action of chlorothalonil. It stops the infection immediately as it works to prevent spore germination and the growth of fungal hyphae. Suitable for breaking the resistance phenomenon and combating stubborn fungal strains.
